Dividends

Boulder Insurance Ltd. (Boulder) generally operates on a five year accounting cycle, and the Board of Directors will endeavor to declare an interim distribution for an underwriting year three years after the underwriting year has ended. Each policy year’s results stand alone and are divided within the Company’s equity statements for illustrative purposes.
Historical Distributions
Boulder has now declared dividends exceeding $20,000,000 as of the March 2023 Board of Directors meeting. The ability to pay dividends arises in part from the continued strength of Boulder members’ safety and claims administration programs. Dividends are paid on a formula basis that takes individual loss experience into account, not on a per share basis.
